Get a tastecard to get the discount. I think it's quite expensive for food but it is LOVELY food. A top notch spot for a drink, a date, or evening with friends. HAPPY HOUR!!! Cocktails are cheaper (I can't remember by how much.... But I do remember I thoroughly enjoyed all the Bloody Mary's) They have some truly excellent music, ambience, and mirrors on the ceiling. A delightful place that's just a stones throw away from Highbury and Islington station.

Came here after work with 9 colleagues last night. Service was good, the food arrived quickly after ordering and the portions were a nice size so you left feeling full. The menu was quite wide ranging European so we were a little worried it might be a jack of all trades place that does nothing well. Instead, all 10 of us loved our starters and mains. It was happy hour so the team were ordering cocktails which they seemed to enjoy. I certainly enjoyed my mocktail. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and had good ambience. Will definitely be returning.

A lovely restaurant in Islington and perfectly placed for the Assembly Rooms across the road (so ideal for a pre-gig meal). Great service and the food was fantastic. Very helpful in providing gluten free options for my wife and daughter, even checking the reasons for the request (both coeliac). I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

What a pleasant establishment, stopped here late evening on the way home, to have a drink. The bartender was incredibly professional and appreciated his well mixed drinks, The atmosphere was set by really good music, played loud enough so you can have a conversation. Would highly recommend this place, they seem to deserve people's businesses.

We enjoyed a really super supper last night outside on the pavement. My nieces thoroughly enjoyed a chicken schnitzel with chips which they shared. My brother and I both had the burgers which were first rate. My sister in law had a fab felafel and halloumi salad. The menu really is a crowd pleaser. We finished with a selection of cakes and ice cream which were devoured. Best of all was the service from Mo who treated the girls like little stars. I’m sure they’ll return during their visit with me in Islington and I am so happy I have this reliable neighbourhood gem on my doorstep,

Love the breakfast here! I got the mediterranean breakfast which was a great portion size and the ingredients fresh! Definitely liked the politeness of the waitress and the speed of service! Will be back again!Would highly recommend this place, they seem to deserve people's businesses.

I have been visiting the Blue Legume in Islington regularly over the last two years and the food has always been good enough to keep me returning. My brunch today was amazing. Obviously a different cook. I had the avocado with poached eggs on sourdough with extra bacon. A huge plate of food arrived. There were 1.5 rounds of sourdough topped with 2 perfectly soft poached eggs and at least 3 rashers of lean grilled back bacon.....and a special garnish with pomegranate seeds. I have had this dish before but today's food was much improved and a much bigger portion. I loved it. My colleague's Full English also looked good but I could see that he was jealous of my choice. Will certainly be back soon. So sorry I didn't take a photograph.

Lovely ambience... lovely simple tasty food..food filling too and healthy. Staff friendly.. modern setting.. great for a lunch or an evening meal
